Quality saddle makers in Ireland, Berney Saddles are being produced in Ireland since 1880, with Fourth and Fifth generation Berney men working to maintain and upgrade the quality founded in the last century. Berney Bros Saddles was founded in Kilcullen and now, Joe Berney trades as Berney and Sons Saddlery in Enniscorthy, Co. Wexford.Advertisement's of that time described us as "Harness Makers to the Carriage Trade and Racing, Hunting and Military Saddlers". During World War 1 our ancestors worked full time repairing and maintaining military harness. With the oncome of the automobile we began to concentrate more on saddles.

Today we provide specialized saddlery for hunting, racing, dressage, cross country and show jumping.

Berney Saddles are today made by Joe and Thomas Berney and their father Tom Berney and a small team of dedicated saddlers. Using the finest of materials available.

The saddle is very popular locally, with those who Hunt, especially the move competitive or fearless rider.
